Colombian cinematographer based in Los Angeles, currently working in narrative as well as documentary projects. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography from the New York Film Academy, College of Visual and Performing Arts in Los Angeles and a Bachelor in Visual Arts with a major in Photography from Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome.
As a director of photography she is drawn to the expressive possibilities of light and camera movement. She enjoys the creative process of conceptualizing a story and developing the visual framework of a film. Her interests as a photographer are portrait, urban landscape, studio work with special lightening techniques, black and white photography and artistic nude. She also pursued studies in social sciences in the fields of anthropology, literature, history and economics.
Has participated in several projects and expositions in the field of visual arts and has worked for Rolando Corsetti at his prestigious black and white fine art photography lab in Rome.
Her passion for art, literature and travel are the inspiration for her work as a cinematographer.
